In 1980 he was the designer, technical engineer and marketing innovator of the current mortgage reporting and tracking systems used today to publish comparison charts on the daily activity of the primary and secondary markets of real estate finance, streamlining financial information for public use.

From 1983 thru 1991 he also pioneered innovations in database management and application systems by engineering function based infrastructures and processes for business management and business development for industries involved in international trade, medical, shipping, construction, manufacturing and the non-profit sectors.

In 1992, Earthwind Companies, Inc. was formed as an IT solutions company, providing web-based solutions and the development of applications over the internet and on premise, with full service hardware support which included telecommunications systems and telephony services.

In 2000, ECI pioneered virtual computing environments, including cloud computing and virtual private networks in one of the nation’s first data centers completely powered by solar, wind, and geothermal energy.  ECI set out to bring IT to a level of functionality previously experienced only from utility companies:  reliability, security, high availability and performance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
